Yeah i wasn t too happy with my choice to join the vampires.

As title asks any benefits from joining the vampires harkon besides becoming a vampire lord. I m just about to start the dlc. I thought it would be awesome to be a vampire lord but i m not a fan of the powers it gives you plus the whole weakness to the sun was a major negative. I have saved the game before choosing to become a vampire lord or not and done the first quest for harkon but wanting to know incase i feel the benefits arnt good enough and revert back to not be a vamp.

Can i side with the vampires in dawnguard without actually becoming one. The only benefit i see with siding with the dawnguard is not getting pestered by dawnguard soldiers for what feels like everytime i use fast travel. Also do crossbows use the archery skill. You give up some bonuses though.
