Have panel 1 flat mounted on the roof with a raised stand.
Slide out solar panel.
Then under it a 2nd panel that slides sideways and then the outer edge can swing down aiming it at the sun on that side.
Slide out solar panel turns that tight space underneath your roof rack or basket into a useful location to house solar panels.
Here s a mockup i made.
The solar panels actually have to be framed in the t slot because the glides that attach to the roof rack mounted track have to be fixed mounted to the roof rack track otherwise the solar panel frame would just slide out of the track.
They are also australian made and operate on our 100kg base mount drawer slides so you can literally hose them out when clogged with sand or mud.
Have a plug that hooks panel 2 in parallel when deployed and is unplugged in transit.
Which means the solar panels have to also have t slot track.
