The smart blind stick automatically detects the obstacle in front of the person and give him a response to the person by vibrating the stick and also with a warning sound.

This smart stick will have an ultrasonic sensor to sense distance from any obstacle ldr to sense lighting conditions and a rf remote using which the blind man could remotely locate his stick all the feedbacks will be given to the blind man through a buzzer. Blind stick is an innovative stick designed for visually disabled people for improved navigation. For better accuracy and assistance two or three ultrasonic sensors sensors can be added to this project. This is the reason why we have designed the blind walking stick device which will help blind people to walk with ease independently.

We here propose an advanced blind stick that allows visually challenged people to navigate with ease using advanced technology. These blind people are totally dependent on others as they can t walk alone. I used ultrasonic sensor for detecting the obstacles. It cost me just 10 to make one.

The stick also has an rf receiver which connects with an rf transmitter that acts as a remote for finding the stick on missing. Through this the blind person can aware about the obstacles in front of him. Of course you can use a vibrator motor in place of buzzer and advance a lot more using your creativity.
